Legion PeeWees Wrap Up Season
The Wingham Legion PeeWee Rep team wrapped up their 2011-2012 season with 3 games in the Goderich Young Canada Week tournament March 14-15.
This tournaments places "C" centres against "CC" and Minor "B" centres. Wingham played BCH, South Huron and Mt. Forest, teams all ranked higher by the OMHA. Wingham was defeated 7-2 by both BCH and South Huron. However, they rebounded to defeat Mt Forest 3-2 in the final game of the season.
The coaches wish all the best to the players moving up to the Bantam age level for next season's play.
