Legion PeeWees Defeat Drayton
The PeeWee Rep team got off to a slow start, spotting Drayton to a 2-0 lead.
Drayton scored one in the first on a deflection past Sam Marston in the Wingham net and another early in the second on a quick shot of a face-off. Then Marston closed the door and the offence took over scoring 5 unanswered goals.
Les Irvine with 2, Cameron Hoskins, Ryan Gangl and Maison Nesbitt were the goal scorers. Dustin Roberton with 2, Nesbitt and Landon Anderson-Johnston add assists. The team had much better positional in this game and used their speed to keep Drayton hemmed in for a lot of the game.
The PeeWees host Blyth-Brussels next Thursday, Oct. 27 at 7:00.
