Atom Rep Wins WOAA Title
The Foxton Fuel Atom Rep team defeated West-Grey 4-0 and 3-2 in weekend play to win the WOAA Atom C championship for the 2012-13 season.
After winning game 1 on the road on Feb. 10, the team had played a lacklustre game at home on the 14th and fell 4-2 to let West-Grey tie the series. The team got serious on the weekend, winning 4-0 at home and taking the title with a 3-2 win in Ayton on Feb. 17 to win the series 3 games to 1.
The Atoms now await the winner of the Mariposa-Centre Hastings series for the OMHA semi-finals. Schedule will be posted online when known.
