Atoms in South Huron Tournament
The Foxton Fuels Atom Reps finally met some stiff competition on the weekend.

Cruising through their WOAA grouping this season, the team has been looking for more difficult teams to play in exhibition and tournament games.  That came about on Nov. 9 & 10 in the South Huron tournament as the team played 3 different "B" level teams.
On Friday, the team got off to a good start by defeating Kincardine 4-2.  On Saturday, in the first of 2 games, the team played the previously undefeated Mt. Forest team.  This was a great back and forth game and one of these teams would see their first loss of the season.  With Wingham up 2-1 heading into the third, Mt Forest showed why they're the cream of the crop so far as they outscored Wingham 3-0 in the third for a 4-2 win.  The Mt Forest coach indicated that this was his team's toughest game to date.
In the third game, Wingham just didn't have the legs as they lost to Listowel, another B centre, by the same 4-2 score, being eliminated from the tournament.
This weekend was a great test for the Atoms as they head towards the Regional SilverStick in early December.
