Bantam Girls Update
The Bantam 86'ers played an excellent game today against
the Huron Heat team.
The opposing team is comprised of girls from Goderich,
Blyth, Brussels, Zurich with many friends and classmates of the 86'ers. They played the first period and 10 minutes and the 2nd and 3rd at 15
minutes. The game was evenly matched with no goals scored until the 3rd
period with the goal being scored by Cassie Wilson and assisted by Eden
Goodall and Darah Kregar. With only 2 minutes left in the third period
the Huron Heat pulled their Goalie and came out hot with 6 players all
hungry to score! Luckily with only 1 second left in the game the 86'ers
gained control of the game and Darah Kregar on a breakaway scored the
second goal ending the game winning 2-0. After the game the coaches
selected player of the game and it went very Tyra Sutton, sporting the
prize in her pink helmet. (see photo)
