OFFICIALS/REFEREES NEEDED
NEEDED: HOCKEY OFFICIALS/REFEREES (NEW AND RETURNING)
RECERTIFICATION CLINICS:
*Walkerton - Sept 24, 12:00pm, Walkerton District Community School
*Clinton - Oct 1, 12:00pm St.Anne’s Catholic High School
*Exams for online should be out on Aug 15.
*Recertification notices have been sent out to officials advising of upcoming recertification courses that must be taken.
ENTRY LEVEL CLINCS:
*Hanover - Oct 23
*Blyth - Oct 30
*Registration forms are being prepared to send out to applicants - only looking for those who have played the game and can skate, not beginners, must be 14 years of age as of December 31st of this year. If the applicant is 18 years of age or older they must submit a VSC police check to attend the clinic. If they are under 18 years of age no police check is required.
*Those interested can do the following ahead of time - Respect in Sport Official and HU - Officating 1/2. These courses have to be completed online and the certificates must be produced the day of the clinic. Fee for these courses is $20 plus HST for Respect in Sport and $21 plus HST for the Officiating 1/2
