OMHA Changes Will Affect Local Hockey Centres, News (Wingham Minor Hockey)

     At this past weekend's OMHA meeting a motion was passed that will remove gate admission fees at all OMHA sanctioned events, including all WOAA games starting next season.  Gate fees are a significant source of revenue for some minor hockey associations to help with ice and referee costs. This decision will undoubtedly require an increase in minor hockey registration fees to help offset the costs. 
     WMHA Executive will be looking for alternative ways to keep registration costs as low as possible, but as this decision has just come down from OMHA stay tuned for updates.  If you have concerns about this change, feel free to express your them directly to the WOAA office."
