U9 LL Red Win Hanover Tournament
The
Wingham U9 LL Red team came out on top in the Hanover Canadian Tire Cup
tournament that was held on February 5th. Coaches and parents are very proud of their
hard work and dedication during all three games.
They started off with a tough 6-5 loss to Owen Sound in over time. The
team went on to play Ayr and won that game 6-0. After that, the boys
went on to play Blyth-Brussels in the finals. They came out with a big
win defeating Blyth-Brussels 6-1. We are so proud
of these boys! This was their very first taste of full ice hockey and
they did extremely well! We are looking forward to watching these boys
during the playoffs. It was so nice to see the boys have so much fun.
They have developed some great friendships and
memories that will last a lifetime!
