Midget Girls Head to Provincials
Submitted By Dave Tiffin on Tuesday, April 2, 2019
The Midget Girls team had an exciting weekend in their WOAA year-end tournament.  They went into the weekend in 4th place and finished 2nd in the final game with a 1-0 score that happened with 6 minutes left in the game.
Their determination, sportamanship and giving it their all as a team made for these exciting games.  The coaching staff and families are so proud of each of you.  The team's excitement isn't over as they still have more hockey this coming weekend.

These girls won all 6 of their playdown games to earn their spot in the OWHA Provincials, held in Toronto on April 5-7.  They will represent their towns and play the game they love as a team. Going to Provincials is the furthest accomplishment a girls team can go, and this team is going!!
The team has so much support from their bench staff on and off the ice and look forward to next weekend.
