Atoms Reach International SS Finals
Submitted By Dave Tiffin on Sunday, January 27, 2019
The Atom Rep team had a very good weekend at the International Silver Stick in Forest, but lost in the championship game to the East Lambton Eagles. Enroute to the finals, the Atoms had been 2-2 in round robin play.

They defeated Deep River 7-2 and Bowling Green 3-1 but lost to East Lambton and Lambton Shores 1-0 and 4-1 respectively.  In the semi-final they gained revenge on Lambton Shores with a 2-0 shutout win, but fell 8-1 to East Lambton in the championship game.  This was the Atoms 2nd game of the morning at 11 a.m. having played Lambton Shores at 8:15 a.m.
Congratulations to the players, coaches and parents on representing WMHA so well.  It's a great achievement to win your Regional tournament let alone reach the Int'l Finals.  Well Done!!
