Good Deeds Cup Reveal
The PeeWee Local League team revealed how much was raised at their 3 on 3
hockey tourney, dinner and silent auction. On hand from the JDRF was
Nichola Cozad to accept the cheque!! Joining the team is Andrew Wheeler
who has been Type 1 diabetic for a year, and Scott McPherson who is dad
to Addy, one of the teams players, who was diagnosed Type 1 in August of
this year. Big thank you to the Wingham Silverstick Committee for
inviting the PeeWee team to be a part of the opening ceremonies and
supporting the team in their bid for the Chevrolet Good Deeds Cup! Huge
thank you to all of the businesses that sponsored the event and donated
prizes, The kids worked very hard as a team to pull this off and it
went amazingly well!!
