PeeWees Win Kincardine Silver Stick "C" Championship
The Wingham PeeWee Rep team captured the "C" championship
at the Kincardine Silver Stick tournament on Dec. 30. The team posted a
5 game winning streak at just the right time, defeating Dundalk,
Shallow Lake, Blyth/Brussels and West Grey before winning 3-2 in
overtime against Minto to claim the title. The team will now travel to
Forest Jan. 5-7 for the International tournament.
The Wingham
Novice team also had a good tournament. They won 3 games, but lost to
the eventual champions, Hagersville, in the semi final.
