Important Update for Parents
Submitted By Dave Tiffin on Wednesday, August 31, 2016
Dear WMH Membership.
We're just around the corner from the start of another fun and exciting hockey season.   It's for that reason that we are writing to you.   For most teams our hockey season will official start September 8th.   Please read the entire article.

- The WMH web page has been updated now to reflect our preseason schedule to get us through the tryouts.
- If your child is born in 2010 or later then they will not start their hockey season until later in September or early October and someone will be in touch with you closer to that time, but you should get in the habit of checking the WMH web page for your ice times.
- For the teams that have tryouts, the format for that process is as follows.
-Team will have 4 on ice sessions.  At the end of the 4th on ice session the teams will be selected and the teams will be posted on the WMH web page.
-1st ice session will be for the kids to get their feet back under them.   This will not be an evaluated tryout.
-2nd through 4th ice times will be evaluated tryouts where the kids will have their hockey skills measured against their peers. These Evaluations will be used to help the coaching staff select the rep teams.
- For questions regarding Co-ed hockey your contact is Luke Lockridge - [email protected]

- For questions regarding Girls hockey your contact is Lisa teRaa - [email protected]  or Kelly Sutton - [email protected]

Below is a list of our teams.
Co-ed Initiation (birth year 2011 or later) - Dennis Mclean will be the Coach and head of this program.  There will be two teams in this age but both will practice at the same time.  For our Initiation program we look to the parents of these children to help out as required. This includes help with on ice sessions so please keep this in mind and support Dennis.
