WOAA Round Robin - Part 1

The Wingham Bantam Rep split their games with Zurich.
Feb 9th the team traveled to Zurich for game 1. Colton Dunn opened the scoring for Wingham on a rebound shot from Jack Reidy. Dunn then looking for the pass from Dustin Robertson in the corner netted his 2nd goal. Zurich came back to tie it up but hard work at the net saw Robertson assisted by Dunn score and then Maison Nesbitt hard down the boards found Jordan Pham who scored goal 4. Going into the third, Zurich scoring 3 times won this game 5-4. At Home Feb 11 the game was off to a quick start with lots of shots on net from both teams. As they say "when you start passin great things happen" and on a perfect pass out front from Robertson, Dunn scored his first of 2 goals. Working hard behind the net Dunn assisted by Robertson got the puck out to Cam Hoskins who scored Wingham's second goal of the first period. On the power play and the team crashing the net Hoskins passed it out to Robertson who laid it in front of the net for Dunn's second goal. Robertson assisted by Dunn and Pham scored the game winner making it-3 Wingham. Solid defensive work by TJ Moores, Spencer Green, Logan Hemeon and Jack Reidy saw a lot of this game played in Zurich's end. Noah Young had wheels on for this game and took home the hat for his hard work. The team has games with Lucknow, South Bruce and Blyth in the coming weeks.
