End of regular Season Update
Submitted by our team reporter Sue Hoskins

The Wingham Bantam Reps has a terrific game against Lucknow Dec10th.

This was the third time on the ice this week and it showed.  The team had great puck movement, great work on the boards and the defence were sticking at the blue line.  Goalie Sam Marston stopped Lucknow on a break away to keep it scoreless in the first period.  Colton Dunn passing up to Cam Hoskins put him on a break away to score short handed.  Dunn following through on a rebound from Hoskins put in the second goal.  Dustin Robertson assisted by Hoskins found the back of the net for the third goal and Jordan Pham backhanded in a pas from Maison Nesbitt for the forth goal.  Hoskins, taking a pass from Nesbitt called it a 5-0 win for the team.

Dec 13th the team travelled to Brussels for their first meeting of the season.  Both teams came out aggressive and skating hard with end to end play.  Blyth/Brussels was up two goals near the end of the second period when Pham passed over to Spencer green who found the back of the net with a shot from the blue line.  Blyth/Brussels scored again making it 3-1, but as Wingham has shown time and again they were not going to let up.  the team kept working on the net and Dustin Robertson scored halfway through the third.  Hunter Hemeon worked hard at the boards and kept the puck in play.  He was able to put one in with 59 seconds left, with assist from TJ Moores, tying the game up.  Blyth/Brussels scored with 21seconds to go ahead 4-3.  the team finished the night off at Coach Boomers house for a Christmas get together.

Dec 17th was the last game of the regular season, played against Blyth/Brussels.  The team came up against a hot goalie and although Wingham had lots of shots on net Dustin Robertson assisted by Jack Reidy had Winghams lone goal for a 3-1 loss.

The team is now practicing and waiting to see who they are up against for the start of the REP C play downs.
