Bruce Penn and Mt Forest

The Wingham Bantam Rep team are back on their game.
Meeting with Bruce Penn on Dec 7th Maison Nesbitt assisted by Jordan Pham rang one off the cross bar for goal #1. Dustin Robertson deeked out the goalie for #2. Nesbitt scored unassisted for #3 and Robertson scored #4 to complete his hat trick assisted Cameron Hoskins and Colton Dunn. Dunn scored on a pass from behind the net by Robertson in the second period and Logan Hemeon scored from the blue line assisted by Nesbitt in the third period. AP goalie Mitchell Deans playing in his first game with the team back stopped the boys for the last half of the third period closing out this Wingham 7-5 win.
Dec 8th the team travelled to Mt Forest to play a very decisive and controlled game. Mt Forest, taking too many penalties and Wingham not buying into it came out with a 7-0 victory to give goalie Sam Marston his first shut out of the season. scoring in the first period was Dustin Robertson off the post, Jordan Pham on a nice back hand pass from Nesbitt and defense man TJ Moores going in alone to close out period #1, 3-0. In the second AP player Lexi Smith, kept the puck in for Dustin Robertson assisted by Dunn to score goal #4 and then Robertson again taking a great pass from Jordan Pham netted Wingham's 5th goal. In the start of the third Cameron Hoskins tapped in goal #6 on a power play assisted by TJ Moores and the Dunn closed it out with a pass from Robertson for Wingham's win. The next game for the team is on Tuesday at home and then Friday in Blyth at 730pm.
