First Game, First Win
The Wingham Novice Rep. team came out to play in its first game of the season.
Hard work payed off as Wingham defeated Teeswater in the opening game of their 2012-2013 season.
Payten W. led the way and opened the scoring just over a minute into the first period. Logan B. was able to keep his focus in the game and made two key saves to preserve a shutout despite not seeing a lot of action through the game.
All 13 skaters played hard and are looking forward to their next game on Saturday at 3:15 p.m. as Mildmay marches into the North Huron Wescast Community Complex.
