First Win for Wingham Tyke II
Wingham was able to compete with a good skating Lucknow team.
Wingham came out with a 6-3 win but it was competitve the entire 45 minutes.
Nathan Bloemberg (3), Carson Shaw (2) and Paul Sabourin (1) scored for Wingham.
Wingham is now 1-1 on the season following a 13-3 loss to Blyth back on November 5th.
The team's next game is on the road in Seaforth on November 20th.
Just a reminder that the Wingham Regional Midget Silver Stick also starts November 20th and runs through the week to the following weekend.
It's a great opportunity for the kids to see some older players skate, pass and shoot (and I hear the popcorn is pretty good).
Proceeds from the Wingham Regional Silver Stick also help out Wingham Minor Hockey.
