PeeWees Force 6th Game in Best of 5
Yes, you read that correctly.  The Legion PeeWees have tied their best of 5 game series at 5 points after winning twice on the weekend.

In game 4, Saturday in Seaforth the team played very well.  The season long lack of scoring looked to perhaps be the undoing as Seaforth scored first on a powerplay.  The point shot went through several legs and past a screened Sam Marston in the Wingham net.  Noah Young got Wingham on the board as he slammed in a centring pass from Ryan Gangl.  Wingham took the lead on a goal by Dustin Robertson.  Maison Nesbitt had taken a shot that was stopped, but centred the rebound to Robertson who put it in the top shelf.  Young rounded out the scoring putting the puck into the empty net as time ran out for a 3-1 victory.  This was a gutsy effort as the team was missing 2 regular forwards.
On Sunday, in game 5, Wingham dominated from the drop of the puck.  Nesbitt opened the scoring late in the first on a goal mouth scramble, then Robertson capitalized again on a powerplay in the second period.  Leading 2-0 after 2 the coaching staff decided to not take the ice resurfacing break in the room, but on the bench to keep the team focused.  This seemed to pay off as they played a strong 3rd.  Brady MacDonald gave the team some extra breathing room as he carried the puck over the blueline and fired a shot from the top of the circle for Wingham's 3rd goal.  The final goal came into an empty net again.  Young fired the puck, which was tipped by Colton Dunn for a 4-1 final.
The teams play game 6 in Seaforth Monday, Jan. 16 at 7:00 with the winner moving on to play Minto in the WOAA semi-finals.
