WOAA Consolation Champs!
Wingham Novice Reps played four great games against the Arran Elderslie Ice Dogs.
Game one took place in Tara, the team worked hard and won 4-2.
The second game was played on home ice with all goals scored by Wade Robinson.
Logan Bross had a great game with a few saves and only let one in.
The entire team worked hard, killing three penalties. Thanks goes out to big brother Jarred who worked the clock and ran the music keeping the fans well entertained! The team won with a score of 4-1.
The third game took place in Paisley, it was a nail bitter til the end! The score was 2-2 and then went into overtime. With only 36 seconds left on the clock, Wade Robinson got the winning goal!
The final and fourth game took place in Tara. The team worked really hard having to kill six penalties throughout the game. Goals were scored by Wade Robinson and Chase Mann. Logan Bross had many great saves and with the help of the entire team the Novice reps took the title of WOAA Consolation Champions with a win of 5-2!
The team will celebrate their year with a parent-child skate and party on Saturday, March 24th @ noon. Congratulations to the team for working hard and ending the year on a 5 game winning streak!
